Strategic Question
What skills are needed?
Ben asked InFocus to help his team adopt a coaching process as they catalyzed disciple making movements. Since the InFocus team began working with Ben, his team has accelerated their process of making disciples and cut the amount of time it takes to plant a church in half. Ben’s team is making more and better disciples, leaders are being cultivated, and healthy churches planted by indigenous church planters.
Ben’s team is also applying a coaching approach in how they care for staff. This has led to greater staff engagement and retention. Now, they can invest their energies into what matters most to them.
InFocus trains leaders to navigate the complex issues of ministry to multiply disciples, cultivate leaders, and plant churches. We call our training cohorts COLLECTIVES so that each group has an affinity that attracts the participants in a learning community. This environment allows for mutual learning supported by coaching relationships.

WHAT IS A COACH COLLECTIVE?
If you are frustrated with the results you are getting in your ministry to make more and better disciples, cultivate leaders and plant healthy churches, you are not alone.
The statistics support your frustration (only about 0.003% of the 350,000 churches in the U.S. are multiplying*) – suggesting that leaders are not being cultivated and disciples are not multiplying. One reason this is not happening is because leaders are not empowering other leaders. This is why coach training is so valuable. When leaders relationally come alongside those they are intentionally developing, the culture of the church begins to shift. Coaching is the ability for leaders to listen carefully and ask questions while following a comprehensive process that is spiritually anchored in Christ.

WHAT IS A DISCIPLESHIP COLLECTIVE?
If you are frustrated with the results you are getting in your ministry to make more and better disciples, you are not alone.
The statistics support your frustration (80% of the 350,000 churches in the U.S. are plateaued or in decline*); suggesting that disciples are not multiplying. One reason this is not happening is because leaders do not share the habits that a disciple maker embodies. In this Collective, you will learn how to practice the five habits and develop a disciple making cycle that fits your unique ministry context.

WHAT IS A LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE?
If you are frustrated with the results you are getting in your ministry to cultivate leaders, you are not alone.
The statistics support your frustration (16% of the 350,000 churches in the U.S. are adding new people and only 4% are reproducing); suggesting that leaders are not being developed. One reason this is not happening is because leaders do not have a leadership development pathway that is easy to navigate. In this Collective, you will develop a leadership pipeline that fits your unique ministry context, to cultivate leaders who will lead effectively as potential church planters, pastors and ministry team leaders.
